Cornell Road remodel

Nestled in the trees on the edge of Forest Park, this 1984 builder house was in desperate need of character.  By removing central narrow closets and bumping out the kitchen and dining room, the main floor plan was transformed into an open and inviting space.  New windows and doors help better connect interior to exterior.  The large exterior deck on the main floor was reduced in order to invite more sunlight into the daylight basement.  On the second floor, two small bedrooms were combined to become a master bedroom, and a dormer was added to unused attic space in order to create a generous master bathroom and closet.
